Can I extend my contract during the summer?
There are only a few reasons why your contract may be extended beyond it's standard end date, factors that we would consider for an extension are:
- course related commitments (such as health or teaching courses still ongoing past the end of your current contract)
- care leaver status (confirmed by Student Support Team)
- estranged from family (confirmed by Student Support Team)
If any of the above points apply to you, you need to contact the accommodation team in good time & you will most likely be granted an extension to your contract.
Please note that in some circumstances, you may be required to move rooms due to our ongoing commitment to ensure a high standard of on campus accommodation. We will let you know the details in advance of moving should this be the case.
