When will my damage deposit be refunded?
The University has moved away from damage deposits and students now pay the £150 Advanced Residence Fee (ARF) which counts as a payment towards your total hall fees. The £150 is non-refundable as it is it taken as a prepayment to secure your room.
For example, if the total for your 40-week contract is £5,000 and you have paid £150 ARF - you will only need to pay a total of £4,850 over your three hall fees instalments in October, January and May.
