What is Qualtrics, how do I access it, and when should I use it instead of Microsoft Forms?

What is Qualtrics?

Qualtrics is an online survey tool available to all Edge Hill students and staff for University-related projects, including research, dissertations, coursework, evaluations and feedback activities.

Should I use Qualtrics or Microsoft Forms?

Both tools can be used to create surveys, but they're designed for different purposes:

  • Microsoft Forms is best for quick surveys, quizzes, polls and collecting simple feedback.

  • Qualtrics is better for research projects, dissertations and more complex surveys. It offers advanced survey design, analysis and reporting tools, as well as more options for managing data securely.

How do I access Qualtrics?
