Turnitin won't process my Word Document - What do I do?
If you receive a process error from Turnitin when submitting a Microsoft Word file in the .docx format, you will need to perform the following to resolve this issue.
- Open the document in MS Word.
- Click Save As.
- In the Save as type dropdown list, select Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)
- If you wish, specify another location and/or filename.
- Click Save.
- Now resubmit in Turnitin
