How can I test my setup is ready to use with Blackboard Collaborate?
Most courses in Blackboard have a Collaborate link in the menu on the left. If you want to check your equipment can access Collaborate, click on the link to go into that room and check that your microphone and web camera are working. (The microphone icon changes colour when it is transmitting sound from your microphone.)

It is good practice to get to an online session 10 mins or so before the scheduled start to enable you to check your equipment is working and make any necessary adjustments.
