What is Extra Edge?
Extra Edge is our employability award that helps students to stand out from the crowd and make the process of applying for jobs easier in the future.
The award is points-based and consists of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum and can be completed at any stage in their studies.
Extra Edge aims to help students develop their employability skills by encouraging activity in part-time work, volunteering, and engagement with the Careers team among many other options.
Points can also be gained by accessing employability enhancing opportunities using the Student Opportunity Fund. Students can book one-to-one appointments for support with the award.
