How do I get an NHS HEI OpenAthens account?
Students on placement within an NHS trust are eligible to access resources via OpenAthens. This is separate from the resources provided by Edge Hill University Library and Learning Services, and a separate login is needed.
To create an OpenAthens account please complete the OpenAthens online registration form. To ensure your form comes through to us to administer please use your Edge Hill email address and choose Edge Hill University Health Student for the organisation.
Once you have completed the form an activation email will be sent to the email address you provided; please follow the instructions in the email within 30 days to activate your account.
If you cannot find your account activation email in your inbox, please check your junk folder.
