How does the DSA Needs Assessment process work?
After your submitted DSA application and evidence has been considered by your funding body eg. Student Finance England they will write to you to inform you whether they accept or reject your application. If your evidence is accepted, you will be invited to book a DSA Needs Assessment appointment.
This appointment is independent of the university and independent of your funding body. The Needs Assessor’s role is to discuss your strengths, challenges, and the impact of your condition considering recommendations around support and technology to help you in your studies.
