I am a staff member; can Wellbeing services help me?

The Wellbeing team supports staff to support students. If as a tutor, you require advice and guidance on supporting a student with wellbeing issues, you can email the team via studentwellbeing@edgehill.ac.uk or call the team on 01695 650988 to discuss this further.

However, the team does not provide support for staff regarding their own wellbeing issues and you would need to access the Employee Assistance Programme. The service is completely confidential, and staff should self-refer when they feel they need advice or support. They do not require a referral to occupational health, or from line managers to access the service.

Staff can call the 24/7 advice line 0800 328 1437 to speak to an advisor, or alternatively they can log in to the online portal www.employeeassistance.org.uk using the organisational code: Edgehill. This will allow them to book an appointment with an advisor for counselling, legal advice, or financial advice and provide access to a range of advice, resources, webinars, and workshops on a range of different issues including managing work stress, anxiety, mindfulness, money advice, and wellness.
