Can I borrow a laptop?
Yes! Catalyst has over 100 laptops available to borrow, along with more than 350 fixed PCs. The PCs are available 24/7 during term time and give you access to the University network, online file storage, and most University software.
Borrowing a laptop:
Laptops are self-service and can be borrowed using your Library account. You’ll find them in the lockers on the ground floor of Catalyst. Just make sure you have your Unicard to issue or return one. Instructions, along with Terms & Conditions can be found on the screen.
Need a laptop for longer?
We know that overnight or two-week loans might not be long enough for everyone. If that’s the case, you can apply for a Semester Loan - these are usually loaned for the duration of the current term.
To apply, you’ll need to have completed Stage 1 Enrolment.
