Can I report an incident of harassment or sexual misconduct anonymously, and what happens if I do?
Yes, you can report an incident anonymously using the University’s “Let Us Know” online form. This option allows you to share your experience without revealing your identity, which can be helpful if you're not ready to speak openly or pursue a formal process. Anonymous reports are reviewed by the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team, who will assess the situation and decide on appropriate next steps.
However, it’s important to understand that anonymity may limit what action the University can take. Without identifiable information, it may not be possible to investigate or follow up in detail. Even so, submitting an anonymous report can help the University monitor patterns of behaviour and improve support services. If you later decide to share more information, you can do so at any time.
