Our camera operated Automatic Number Plate Recognition system (ANPR) is in force all year round, between the hours of 7am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Please read the notices displayed in the car parking areas, as timings vary.
Please note that during non‑enforcement periods, parking restrictions still apply and a parking charge notice may be issued if a vehicle is parked in a way that causes obstruction or breaches marked‑bay or double‑yellow‑line rules.
There is a 20-minute grace period to allow drivers to exit the car park without penalty if they do not have a valid permit or registration. If ineligible or you do not intend to stay, please leave within this time to avoid receiving a parking charge notice (PCN).
If you are eligible to park on campus, you can register online through the Parking Permit Application portal. Unregistered vehicles may receive a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) if they are detected by the ANPR system without valid parking access. This includes those with a valid permit that park within a restricted area or outside the marked parking space.
If you have received a fine which you think is wrong, please email the Parking team with a copy of the letter you received which will detail the reasons for the fine.
